Rosemary R. Wanis, MSW, MS, CDI, Ed. D. (pending May, 2018) is offering a training as you seek to meet your goal of becoming a CDI. This training is presented jointly with Jim Brune, CDI and Rachel Kleist, CDI both from Cohort 1.
After attending the training you may feel more prepared to take the written RID CDI exams; however, this is not the focus of the training. The focus of the first part of the training is to give you a comprehensive foundation of what it means, and what it takes, to be a CDI. The focus of the second part of the training is to give you foundational skills and experience from which to begin your journey as a Deaf Interpreter Professional.
All of you are encouraged to contact your RID affiliate chapter for financial support/sponsorship as well as your Department of Rehabilitation Counselor to determine if you might be eligible for financial aid.
Scholarships are available for a limited amount. Please watch this video for more information about scholarships.
