CCRID was founded with the passion of growing our local interpreting community by providing high quality workshops, professional networking opportunities, and ultimately being able to invest in others whom will serve the local Deaf Community. Eligibility Guidelines:
CCRID Interpreter Educational Scholarships is only for those who are current members of CCRID
CCRID Interpreter Educational Scholarship is only available for those who currently reside in the Central Valley.
It is expected that the scholarship recipient will serve the Deaf Community by volunteering with local non-profits or pro-bono interpreting.
Scholarship Process:
Applicants are required to complete the form for candidacy Applicants are welcome to apply every fiscal year. The scholarship committee will review applicants quarterly.
The scholarship committee will notify candidates of their award status on April 15th, July 15th, October 15th, and January 15th. CCRID Interpreter Education Scholarship will be awarded to two (2) recipients every fiscal year, as long as funds are available. Each award will be up to $500.
It is expected that the awardees will use the funds to further their interpreting aspirations to better serve the Deaf Community.
